Fully Featured IIIF Viewer
Mirador is a configurable, extensible, and easy-to-integrate image viewer, which enables image annotation and comparison of images from repositories dispersed around the world. Mirador has been optimized to display resources from repositories that support the International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) API’s. Mirador provides several workspaces for comparing image-based resources, suitable for use in both cultural heritage and research settings.

Current Mirador Status
Mirador 4 is now available! This includes major updates to React to version 19 and the Material UI interface library it uses to version 7, an overhaul of its automated testing suite to use React Test Library, and much more. You’ll find a complete list of changes in the v4.0.0 release notes.
The community is shifting its attention now to reviewing documentation, improving digital accessibility, and architectural improvements. As always we’d be thrilled for you to join the effort!
